Brunch Casserole

Serving Size: 8 slices

Ingredients:

1 pound ground sausage

2 cups shredded cheddar cheese

1 can crescent rolls

4 large eggs – beaten

3/4 cup milk

Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions:

  1. Preheat oven to 425°F and grease a 9″x13″ baking dish.
  2. Crumble and cook the sausage until brown. Drain any fat.
  3. Line the bottom of the greased baking dish with the crescent rolls. Press the seams to seal.
  4. Sprinkle the cooked sausage and cheese over the crescent rolls.
  5. Combine the remaining ingredients in a medium bowl and pour over the sausage/cheese.
  6. Bake for 15 minutes at 425°F or until set.
  7. Let stand 5 minutes before cutting.
